Privacy

The short version: you can search and read every page without giving us anything. If you join the alert list, we keep your email address to send you alerts, and nothing else. We don't sell or share it, and we don't use advertising trackers.

Searching and reading

Search runs in your browser. When you type a ZIP code or use "Use my location", the search happens on your device; your location is not sent to us.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to pages. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. Our host, Cloudflare, also keeps short-lived server logs, as every website host does, to keep the site running and secure.

We set no cookies.

If you join the alert list

We store your email address, the home you asked us to watch (if any), and when you joined. We use them only to send you alerts about that home and news about the launch of alerts. Every email has a link to stop them, and we'll delete your details if you ask.

The list is stored with Cloudflare, which runs our website. When alerts launch we will use an email delivery service to send them; we'll name it here before we do.

We don't sell, rent or share your email with anyone — not with homes, not with advertisers, not with referral services.

Records about homes

Pages about homes come from public government records. They name homes, the companies that own and run them, and — as the records do — administrators and licence holders. They contain no information about residents.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Questions

Email hello@carefullreview.com to ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted. If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and, if the change affects the alert list, email you first.
