Corrections
We copy government records automatically, and some of them are scanned documents. Mistakes can happen — in our reading of a report, in matching a record to the right home, or in the government record itself.
How to tell us
Email hello@carefullreview.com with the page address, what you think is wrong, and, if you can, a link to or copy of the record that shows it. Homes and their staff are welcome to write to us too.
What we do
- We check every report against the original government record.
- If we made the mistake, we fix it, usually within two working days, and note the correction on the page.
- If the government record itself is wrong, we'll tell you who to contact to have it corrected. We show the record as published, and we will note on the page that it is being disputed.
- We don't remove accurate public records on request, and no one can pay to change what a page says.
When a home is disputing an inspection finding through the official process, we show the finding and say that it is disputed.
